Good Morning from 76 Crestwood

Well Hey everyone, I am on morning two of living at our new home.....so far we have most of our major items in and still have round two and three waiting for us.
I must say this has not been a completely positive experience. We decided to do this whole move just when the tides were to turn on the economy....I tell you, if we would have been 2 weeks earlier I am sure all would have been less stresful. Saying that I am very grateful for everything. We have now moved into a 5 bedroom bungalow, with a finished rec area, a garage and a hot tub. So if I complain, you may slap me.
What was stressful was the sale of our old home. It was really frustrating as it is a great home...just no longer big enough! Everytime we would get an offer, their financing would not get approved. Our realtor had said that the month of October 08 had the most times of financing fall through, that he had ever seen.....huh!!!!
Well I believe it is finally sold and all will be good!!!
As far as the new home, what is really nice is that all of my creative storing techniques will not be needed any longer as we have storage for all of that. Another big bonus is that the kids can have their own area to goof off in and we can hardly hear them....so nice as the other place would be like an amplified version of whatever they were watching on TV. (That's OK if you like Hannah Montana)
Anyhow, All said and done...I am so happy to have made the move and am sure we will be here for a long time to come....The New Beginning

Our last day in this house...

Well today is the last full day in our house. I have absolutely loved this house. It is our house that we have had for the last four and a half years. I have to say it is the nicest house I have ever lived in.....I know sad but true.
So, I must say that there are some mixed feelings with leaving the house. I know that the new house will be wonderful but for now I am a little sad. This house has provided us with such wonderful memories and a new start from where we were, how do you just pack it all up and leave.
I know my theory in life is that "things always get better" So I need to remember that today as I start the final pack.
Here's to the old and here's to the new.....I'll pack it all up and bring my memories too!!!(for some reason I felt I needed to have a rhyme there)
